Update on the Corona Virus(Covid-19) and classes:
We hope everyone is doing well and navigating through this new “normal”. What we had hoped would be a few weeks has turned into two months and there does not seem to be any certainty when we will be allowed to re-open, what exactly that will look like. What we do know is the with the schools not re-opening for rest of the year, we have had to postpone our recital.
We have been in contact with RHS to see what some other options might be and will be sending out a survey in the next couple days to get feedback from our dance family. The safety of our dancers and staff are of the utmost importance and any decisions that we make will keep those concerns on the forefront.
Keep your eye out for our survey and we will keep everyone posted on our next steps.
Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time, it means more than you know!
Dear Danceprints Families,
It’s official. Schools will be closed beginning on Monday March 16, for 2 weeks. What does that mean for Aprille’s Danceprints?
The safety and wellbeing of our dancers, staff and their families is our main concern. After a lot of discussion and feedback from other studio owners and local businesses, we have decided that we will be closing the studio effective 3/14/20, and plan to re-open for regular classes on Monday, March 30th. We will confirm that date as we get closer.
This is how we have planned to make up classes:
We have spring break scheduled for April 6th-April 12th. We will move spring break to March 16th-March 22nd and remain closed the following week. We will re-open(hopefully) by the end of March and remain open during the planned spring break time. This means we will need to schedule one week of make up classes. We will create a make up schedule and have it ready for April 1.
Many have still not paid their March tuition-and we have sent out reminders to those who owe. Please make sure to mail in or drop off payments to our outside box asap. Monthly tuition covers our studio overhead, but most importantly, it pays our staff and I am committed to pay our instructors during this closure, as I know that this time off is a hardship for us all.
If your family is facing a hardship due to this statewide shutdown, please let us know. We can work out a plan to help with dance expenses.
We will be working with staff to see about putting together some videos for practice. We will let you know class by class if there is something is posted for your child’s class.
Thank you all for your understanding-and good luck getting through the next few weeks. We will miss you!
COSTUMES ARE STARTING TO COME IN!
Many of your recital costumes have come in and we are starting to hand them out in classes. Since we order from several vendors, they come in at different times-so be patient. We will get them out as soon as we have them all. Please make your instructors aware of any issues with your dancers costume asap.
SAVE THE DATES!!
Studio pictures will be held on May 19 and May 20
Recital dates-June 20 and June 21
