Registration Policy
Returning Students: All returning dancers should register for fall classes in early summer-forms are available at recital, and in our recital program. We cannot hold spots for returning dancers without completed registration forms. Reserving a spot in a class to complete a fall activity will only be offered with paid registration and paid tuition. In order for the studio to finalize classes in a timely manner for all dancers, we cannot continue to accept late registrations, NO EXCEPTIONS.
New Students: We will accept registration for new students through September 30th, or until classes are fill
Attendance Policy
Students are expected to commit to regular attendance, be on time and dressed appropriately for class. Due to Covid restrictions, students should not arrive early for class and must wait outside for instructors to welcome them into the studio for a wellness check. A parent must be in the parking area for pick up promptly at dismissal. In the situation that a student might be late or cannot attend their class, a phone call to the studio MUST be made. Classes will be interrupted by late arrivals, so please make sure you are on time. Dancers under 8 years old should have a parent or guardian with them at the studio at all times.
Absence Policy
In the situation that a class is missed regarding personal reasons such as vacations or illness, payment is still required for the missed class. Contacting the studio, as well as the instructor is required if you know that your student will not be at class. If a student misses class due to an injury and/or extended illness, a doctor's note is REQUIRED. If multiple classes are missed and a student falls behind, they may be dropped a level and/or removed from performing in their class's recital dance at the end of the year, as decided by their instructor. This is in fairness to the dancers who are committed to their class and work hard each and every week. The earlier we receive notice of an absence, the easier it will be for our instructors to help prepare your student for what they will be missing. When it allows, the studio will try and offer a make up class to those who have multiple absences and are willing to put the time and effort to catch up on their respected dances.
Cancelled Classes
Any and all cancellations due to the weather will be posted on our Facebook page, as well as on our local news channel websites, WFSB and NBC30 . We will make every effort to offer a make up class when there are multiple class cancellations due to weather.
